DEMENTIA UK "TOGETHER AGAIN"
DIRECTOR - DESIGNER
Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support for families through its Admiral Nurse service, the only national service of this kind. Admiral Nurses work alongside people with dementia and their families: giving them the one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions they need, and that can be hard to find elsewhere.
For this film, my aim was to create powerful visual metaphors to convey what is felt by a growing number of people in the UK and across the world. The film focuses on the universal feelings of loneliness and isolation felt by those living with dementia and their loved ones, and is a testament to the courage and strength of carers and Nurses in the face of such a devastating illness.
With a running time of 3 minutes, this was an incredibly ambitious undertaking with the resources available, and I am enormously grateful to everyone who helped bring this story to life.
