Reuben McNaughton is an award-winning director and art director based in London. He combines his keen eye for story with his versatility as an illustrator to create visuals in a variety of styles, allowing him to create bespoke artwork inspired by each project’s narrative and make it unique to every film he embarks upon.
He has worked on a wide range of campaigns & commercials, short films and music videos where his love of character, attention to detail and sensitivity allow him to create rich, visually beautiful films that pack an emotional punch. In 2017 Reuben created three art tracks for the band Gorillaz on their album ‘Humanz’ which altogether have over 91 million views. He has since directed a short film for Dementia UK, which was shortlisted for a Cannes Lion Award and won a Bronze Award at Ciclope Festival.
Reuben is now working on many of his own ideas which are in development at Passion Animation Studios.
